## Appllama MCP — for coding agents

The library is available to AI coding agents as a remote MCP server (Model
Context Protocol, Streamable HTTP). Connect it and your agent can search
top-grossing apps, walk every screen of an app in journey order, search tens
of thousands of screens by keyword or by meaning, and study flows and
UI-element patterns across the whole catalog — then build from what it finds.

- `appllama-usage` teaches an agent how to research the library well (tool
  map, pagination, expiring media, build-from-research playbooks).
- `appllama-app-design-skill` holds what the agent builds to a native,
  benchmark-quality standard (Apple HIG fidelity, motion, dark mode, verified
  in the simulator, not just screenshots).

Tools (all paginate with `next_cursor`; media URLs expire after about an hour):

- `search_apps` — natural-language search over the app library with filters
  for revenue, downloads, rating, price, launch date and onboarding length;
  each result carries its flows and screen counts.
- `get_app` — one app in full: revenue, downloads, ratings breakdown,
  category rank, launch dates, in-app purchases, top countries, every flow.
- `list_app_screens` — one app's screens in journey order (welcome →
  onboarding → paywall → other tabs), each with UI elements, colors and media.
- `search_screens` — keyword mode over screen names with flow / section /
  screen-type / element filters, or semantic mode by meaning ("cozy dark-mode
  stats dashboard with charts").
- `get_screen` — one screen in full, plus visually similar screens from other
  apps. Accepts the `screen_ref` that appllama.io's "Copy Screen ID" produces.
- `list_flows` / `get_flow_apps` — the flow taxonomy (Onboarding, Paywall,
  Food Logging, …) and the apps that ship each flow, top revenue first.
- `list_ui_elements` / `get_element_screens` — every UI-element family (tab
  bars, primary CTAs, progress bars, …) and the screens that feature it.
- `list_my_boards` / `get_board` — the member's own boards on appllama.io;
  when a board exists for the task, start from it.
- `get_credits` — balance, allowance, usage and limits. Free.

House rules: images and videos carry a small Appllama watermark in the
top-left corner — it is provenance, not design; ignore it and never reproduce
it. Go deep on the apps that matter for the task; bulk-harvesting the catalog
is against the terms and is detected.
